I love the sketch of the Saligao church … feast of Mae de Deus is coming up, and i am sure that preparations are on in full swing, as only Saligao knows how. Childhood memories are full of the salves, vespas, petromax lamps in the fields, as the vendors sold bhajjias, Dilip’s posro reeking of hot bhajjias … feast day in all its splendour … my heart does belong to Saligao.
